Information System Security Policy

ALTEN Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes that protecting personal information and managing information security are critical social responsibilities as a company that supports customers in IT development through software and hardware development, sales, maintenance, and other services. The Company establishes the following Information Security Basic Policy and is committed to its implementation and continuous improvement.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, norms, and guidelines related to information security, including the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant legal frameworks.

2. Establishment of Organizational Structure
The Company establishes and maintains an organizational structure to ensure systematic and continuous operation of information security measures.

3. Development and Enforcement of Internal Regulations
The Company formulates internal regulations based on this policy and ensures thorough awareness and compliance among all executives and employees.

4. Protection of Information Assets
The Company implements appropriate management measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets, including personal information, from potential risks.

5. Education and Training
The Company conducts regular education and training programs for executives and employees to ensure the thorough implementation of information security measures and to enhance awareness.

6. Incident and Accident Response
The Company strives to prevent information security incidents and, in the event of an incident or accident—or signs thereof—takes prompt and appropriate measures, including steps to prevent recurrence.

７. Review and Continuous Improvement
The Company periodically reviews and improves this policy in response to changes in management policies, business operations, societal and technological developments, and revisions to laws and regulations.
